All of our proceeds will be presented to Divas For a Cure who
will, along with the funds raised from the 2007 run (currently over
$40,000), make a donation to The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer
Center. Ninety percent of all monies raised by Divas For A Cure goes
to Breast Cancer Rearch which is dedicated to the Nellie B.
Connally Breast Cancer Center to be use for breast cancer research, as
opposed to other organizations who first pay operating costs.

Most of us have been touched by Breast Cancer at one time or
another -- in our mothers, sisters, and other loved ones. Breast cancer is
the most common type of cancer among women in this country (other than skin
cancer). Each year, more than 211,000 American women learn
they have this disease. Also, each year, about 1,700 men in this country
learn they have breast cancer.
Because of these facts "Females Unite for a Cause and Brothers Who Care" was
organized and is currently planning to host a picnic as a "Post Celebration"
to the
Divas For A Cure Cross-Country Breast
Cancer Motorcycle Run, scheduled for Saturday, August 18, 2007.
Please come out and join us for a fun filled day at the Mountain House.
The cost of admission includes lunch and will help support breast cancer
research and education.
